Moving Forward.
A rough day yesterday but we got through it (favorite pet daughter with kidney disease had to be euthanized). This morning, sunshine. I really needed this. And food, but not just yet.
Today, errands, writing, and reading. My dance card is full of homework due by next Wednesday. One chapter required for the current WIP, five chapters read and notes taken on an ancient manuscript for class discussion, an outline to internalize for the same.
Add four mercifully short books to read for Endeavour, a pinch of yard work, a couple of weekend meetings for OryCon, and the last traces of dearly departed cat to clean and put away.
Pretty much a typical week around here. Hope yours is productive too!
Random thought: I just noticed a rather large blackberry bush growing across the street in a neighbor’s side yard. How cool would that be to be able to pick blackberries so close? How awful would it be for those dreaded, almost impossible-to-kill blackberry bushes to take over our tightly-packed neighborhood?
